SSL SIX-CHANNEL 500

SuperAnalogue TM, master of versatility

Based on the same circuit as mixing tables SSL sIX series and based on the sound of the large format studio consoles, the Six Channel module in API 500 format features a micro SuperAnalogue TM preamplifier with a large gain range and a very low noise, which thus retransscribes a clean and percuting sound, adapted to a range of sound sources. It also offers a switchable bass filter, a phase inversion button and ghost power +48V.

This module also includes a two-band tray type equalizer (shelving) for bass and high frequencies, with a gain range of ±15 dB. However, a Bell mode (cloche) is switchable to change frequency bands and thus place itself on key frequencies (5 kHz and 200 Hz) to process many sources. An ultra-intuitive compressor with a button (compression threshold) offers an advanced dynamic setting with automatic gain compensation to maintain the signal level according to the compression dosage you assign to your signal.

Each section of this module can be switched via an activation button. A 6.35 mm jack in front and the Line and Hi-Z buttons allow you to pass your micro input level on a high impedance line or instrument level.
