Powered by the ground-breaking Allen & Heath brand's 96 kHz FPGA XCVI engine, a high-performance DSP that delivers outstanding computing speed and high-resolution sound, the SQ-7 console is, like the entire SQ range, designed for live, recording and broadcasting applications with outstanding ease.

SQ consoles integrate all the tools and treatments you need to create the perfect mix. Each entry has a low-cut filter (HPF), a gate with sidechain, a 4-band musical parametric equalizer and a Peak/RMS compressor for controlling the dynamics and transients of your signals. The mixing buses have a graphical and parametric equalizer 28 bands and a switchable compressor. 8 stereo effects engines are integrated and delivered with the RackExtra library, including emulations of classic reverbs, gate reverb, delays, modulations and more. Each of the effect sections has its own dedicated stereo feedback, which prevents you from sacrificing two of the 48 channels available.

For studio recording and work applications, the SQ incorporates an audio interface 32 x 32 96 kHz which offers an intuitive multitrack recording solution and also allows backing tracks, live streaming and virtual level monitoring. The software driver is class complacent on Mac, while an ASIO driver will be required for use on Windows. For even more flexibility in any configuration, SQ consoles have an optional extension card slot on the rear panel, thus providing an extended connection according to the ecosystem in which you are operating.
