Optoma ML1050STi – Ultra-compact short-throw LED projector with Android and Creative Cast
The Optoma ML1050STi is an ultra-compact DLP LED projector designed to deliver a large image even in the smallest spaces. As the successor to the popular ML1050ST+, it introduces enhanced smart features, improved connectivity, and a short-throw optical system capable of projecting a 100-inch image from just a little over one meter away.
Thanks to its DLP® technology combined with a long-life LED light source, the ML1050STi delivers a brightness of 1000 LED lumens (535 ANSI lumens), a native WXGA (1280 × 800) resolution, a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, and outstanding colour coverage reaching up to 90% of the DCI-P3 colour space. Movies, presentations, and games benefit from vivid colours, strong contrast levels, and consistent image quality throughout the entire lifespan of the light source.
Designed for both professionals and home users, the ML1050STi integrates a built-in media player, an Office Viewer, internal memory, and a 2 W speaker. It allows direct playback of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF files, photos, and videos from a USB drive or microSD card, without the need for a laptop. With Display Share and compatible wireless solutions, content sharing becomes fast and intuitive.
Setup is extremely simple thanks to Auto Focus with laser-based autofocus and Auto Keystone, which automatically adjust image sharpness and vertical correction. Its short-throw lens (0.8:1) reduces shadows during presentations while enabling a large image from a minimal distance. Gamers will also appreciate its low 16 ms response time, ensuring smooth and responsive gameplay on a large screen.
Compatible with Creative Cast, wireless presentations via EZCast Pro, and professional control protocols such as RS232, AMX, Crestron RoomView, and Extron IPLink, the ML1050STi integrates easily into meeting rooms as well as fixed AV installations.
