The SRX828P subwoofer has 2 speakers 46 cm JBL 2279F of 1000 W, mounted in low reflex. It is equipped with a 20 mm base on the top allowing the insertion of a SS4-BK bar for use with SRX812P, SRX815P or SRX835P satellite speakers.
The SRX800 series has been designed to fully take into account its professional and intensive use. Ergonomic handles favour its good grip to facilitate transport while its M10 suspension points and base for bars or feet allow the design of any type of configuration.
Transducers JBL patented "Differential Drive" incorporate 3-inch windings and a reduced ferrite magnetic mass to limit weight while increasing their power and response in low frequencies. The JBL 2432H is the only neodymium compression chamber engine equipped with a 3” winding capacity in its class to deliver a level of power guaranteeing a clear and crystalline sound.
DSP treatment:
Each SRX800 series enclosure incorporates a 400 MHz DSP Sharc processor that supports high-tech digital audio treatments including 20 parametric corrections, 2 seconds of time, a signal generator, input mixing and amplification module monitoring, memorable in 50 user presets. In addition, the system is fully compatible with presets JBL V5 thanks to FIR filters (without dephasing) operating at 96 KHz and the "LevelMax" level limitation process, identical to those used in the line array system JBL VTX.
DriveCore by Crown
Each speaker is equipped with an amplification module using Crown-developed DriveCore technology and circuits to achieve a power of 2000W. With a remarkable signal/noise ratio of 103dB, the SRX800 series is capable of producing an extremely high level of acoustic pressure with an exceptional dynamic reserve and a very low distortion.
HiQnet Network Control
Thanks to the complete integration of the HiQnet network, the configuration of a SRX800 diffusion system is greatly simplified by a fully automated control interface; the enclosure network connection is via a wired Ethernet link via the etherCON connectors or a wireless connection with the addition of a WiFi router.
It is then possible to control the system by Audio Architect or HiQnet Motion Control software from a PC computer or iOS and Android mobile devices.
With the SRX800 series of portable amplified enclosures, JBL establishes a standard of mobile sonorization.
