The Fireface UCX II is a professional audio solution that seamlessly integrates into an ultra-compact format for live and studio recordings. It continues the long tradition of RME design of compact advanced interfaces, by consolidating in a unit of half-rack size.

This high-end interface takes over the key features of its predecessor and adds features, display and reworked design. The unique audio system is capable of transferring analog and digital audio data directly to Windows and Mac computers. The latest Plug and Play technology guarantees a simple installation, even for the inexperienced user.

The Fireface UCX II incorporates two micro/line preamps in combo XLR configuration on the front panel, as well as two line/digital control inputs, followed by a headphone socket, various control buttons, a screen and the main volume button. At the back is a set of ten analog symmetrical line inputs and outputs, E/S MIDI, E/S ADAT, E/S AES/EBU and SPDIF, USB 2.0 as well as a switchable E/S word clock.
