Powerful USB interface and multi-format converter

The Digiface AES is a professional USB 2.0 interface with 14 inputs and 16 outputs, powered by USB bus. The front side has two combo jack/XLR micro/line inputs from the Babyface Pro FS. Two preamplifiers provide +48V power supply and 75 dB gain adjustable by 1 dB steps. Everything is digitally controlled via rotary encoder or remote control ARC USB available as an option.

This results in exceptional performance in terms of background noise, as well as protection against electrical overload and enough gain to power microphones at very low output levels. With a range of digital connections and integrating SteadyClock FS technology, Digiface AES is the ideal solution for recording and playing digital and analog sources, making it compatible with most professional audio equipment. The helmet output available in front allows high quality monitoring, suitable for high and low impedance helmets.

In the back, we will find the digital ADAT, S/PDIF, AES 3 and MIDI interface for connecting your devices. Two main analog outputs are also available for connecting monitoring speakers or other types of listening.
