The BCM 104 is a broadcast microphone dedicated to radio advertisers and DJs, developed to transmit emotion with Neumann sound. Its optimized design incorporates an anti-pop screen under the grid and a wide membrane capacitor capsule protected against shock, specially developed for speech. Circuits without transformers ensure direct sound and noise-free.

Broadcasting is a much more immediate way to reach listeners than recording in studio. That's why Neumann decided to develop a microphone that specifically meets the needs of radio DJs, advertisers and presenters. The BCM 104 capsule captures every shade of your voice without any unwanted colouring or artifacts, and its electronic circuit exhibits an extremely low clean noise of 7 dB-A
A robust and sustainable balance
The BCM 104 can withstand huge levels of acoustic pressure up to 138 dB without distortion. Its symmetrical output without transformer protects the signal from interference and other electrical noises, such as that of screens. The settings of pad to - 14 dB and low cut to 100 Hz are accessible inside the microphone to select them during configuration. An integrated subsonic filter removes frequencies below 20 Hz.
