Shure SM7dB

The Shure SM7dB modernise one of the most legendary microphones on the market, the SM7B, by integrating a high quality preamp designed by Shure. This XLR dynamic microphone retains the iconic sound signature of the SM range while offering an additional gain of +18 dB or +28 dB, thus avoiding the use of external preamps often necessary with the SM7B. Intended for podcasters, streamers, musicians and sound engineers, it guarantees a clear and natural capture of the voice and instruments, with a cardioid directivity that minimizes unwanted noises.

The built-in preamp works with a standard phantom power supply (+48V) and offers a transparent amplification, thus preserving the wide and linear frequency response of the microphone (50 Hz – 20 kHz). It also has bypass switch, enabling the original characteristics of the SM7B if necessary. Sound effective anti-pop filter and its pneumatic damping system provide protection against mechanical noise and plosive noise, even during close-up recordings.
