Soundcraft's Performer 1 is a 19-inch compact digital mixing table. It has many possibilities. Despite this, his order is simple as hello. The 16 motorized faders freely attributable, the extensive channel strip section, the push buttons and the One Touch Easy Mix and the LED touch screen offer total control over a maximum of 80 channels, 32 mixing buses and internal effects. In addition, the mixing table is equipped with an internal DMX512 interface that allows you to control a small lighting kit.
Entries and exits of Si Performer 1
The Soundcraft Performer 1 has 24 analog inputs (16 micro, 8 line), 16 line outputs and an AES/EBU input/output. If this is not enough, you can expand the number of channels with 128 inputs and 96 outputs using two locations for Soundcraft's optional input/output extension cards.
Channel Strip
Settings for Soundcraft Si Performer 1 input channels can be controlled via the Channel Strip due (Assignable Channel Strip, ACS). A clear user interface gives you access to the preamp, compressor, logical door, a fully parametric 4-band equalizer and the panning, delay and routing settings of the selected channel. You run the exit bus via the ACS, obviously without the possibility of setting for preampli and logical door.
Lexicon, BSS and Studer
In addition to ACS, the Si Performer 1 is equipped with four Lexicon stereo multi-effect processors. You have the choice between 29 preset, including resonance (hall, flat and room), delay, modulation effects and tone. Each bus is equipped with a graphic equalizer with an algorithm BSS. You will also find this feature in Studer's expensive mixing tables.
One Touch Easy Mix
It is almost impossible to describe a mixing table so versatile in so few words. The One Touch Easy Mix buttons (tOTEM) and the Global Mode Controls deserve to be mentioned. You can directly alter between AUX, FX and the Matrix bus using these tOTEM buttons. Then it is possible to determine what you want to send to the bus using motorized faders. The Global Mode Controls consist of a series of buttons above each fader. With a simple push on the button, it is possible to alternate between gain, panning and high-pass filter settings for all inputs.
