The Tascam DA-6400 is a professional digital recorder designed for live audio production and broadcast applications. It offers a high resolution multi-channel recording capacity of up to 64 tracks, making it an ideal choice for recording concerts, shows and sporting events.
The DA-6400 has eight 2.5-inch removable hard disk slots, which can be configured in RAID for maximum data redundancy. It is also equipped with professional audio inputs/outputs, including analog micro/line inputs, AES/EBU inputs/outputs and HD-SDI video outputs for accurate synchronization with video equipment. Extension card slots allow to extend connectivity for compatibility with MADI, Dante, DigiLink, AVB formats...
The DA-6400 uses a proprietary operating system that ensures fast start-up and intuitive use, providing high reliability and stability. The control software provided allows easy remote control of the recorder from a computer, tablet or smartphone. The DA-6400 is also compatible with a wide range of remote control protocols such as RS-422, GPIO and Ethernet, making it a versatile choice for professional production environments.
