The Avantone CLA-10A represents the rebirth of the most famous studio monitor of all time, praised for over 45 years in studios worldwide. Designed in collaboration with mixing engineer Chris Lord-Alge, these speakers recreate the uncompromising sonic character of the legendary “white cones,” renowned for their mid-forward frequency response and reliability as reference tools. Equipped with a 18 cm AV10-MLF woofer and a 3.5 cm AV10-MHF tweeter, specifically developed to reproduce the original sound signature, the CLA-10A ensures faithful and accurate reproduction. Their design revives the key elements of the historical models (crossover, cone stiffness, frequency response) while complying with modern standards. Thanks to the innovative VTPC (Variable Tissue Paper Control) function, you can adjust the high-frequency response to simulate different variants of the original speakers.

Each monitor integrates a 120 W RMS Class AB amplifier with a linear power supply and massive toroidal transformer, ensuring stable and powerful performance reminiscent of the electronics paired with the originals. Their sealed MDF cabinet with real wood veneer contributes to a neutral and precise reproduction, while the low distortion (0.005% at low power) guarantees reliable listening across the entire spectrum.
