8020D PM

The Genelec 8020D is a proximity studio monitor which has been a benchmark for performance and compactness for more than 15 years. With this improved version, it offers a higher sound pressure level (SPL) while consuming less energy, ensuring a faithful and transparent reproduction of the sound. Its moulded aluminium housing, combined with an optimized bass-reflex design, ensures balanced diffusion across the spectrum, with precise basses and clear sharps. Thanks to its small format, it fits perfectly into small studios, mobile controls or configurations where space is limited.

Renowned for its neutrality and accuracy, the 8020D has optimized directivity technology Leadership Control Waveguide (DCWTM), which expands the sweet spot and reduces parasitic reflections. Sound 100 W Class D amplification (50 W for severes and 50 W for acutes) guarantees power adapted to professional environments. In addition, the circuit Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISSTM) put it inspeaker automatic standby when no signal is detected, thus contributing to efficient energy management.

The 8020D fits into a full range of Genelec monitors including models 8010A, 8030C, 8040B and 8050B, each adapted to specific needs. The 8010A, more compact, is ideal for mobile configurations, while the 8030C offers an extended frequency range for more detailed mixing. The 8040B and 8050B, for their part, provide increased power and sound restitution adapted to the larger spaces and the highest demands.
