The Genelec 8040B PM is a proximity monitor designed to offer a sound restitution exceptionally faithful, with an impressive sound pressure level up to 115 dB peak. Its extension in the bass reached 41 Hz, ensuring a balanced reproduction without the systematic use of a serious casing.

Its design incorporates the recycled moulded aluminium case emblematic of Genelec, combining elegant design and acoustically controlled. The 8040B PM benefits from the same key technologies as other 8000 series models, including the DCWTM (Directory Control Waveguide) for a homogeneous diffusion of sound, andIso-PodTM, orientable support that guarantees optimal positioning without harmful vibrations.
