Equipped with a 6.5-inch Flax cone woofer, a technology developed by Focal, the Shape 65 provides remarkable tonal balance, rich and natural midrange reproduction and outstanding bass definition. Its 1-inch aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeter delivers detailed, smooth high frequencies without harshness, allowing for long mixing sessions with reduced listening fatigue.
Unlike conventional bass-reflex speakers, the Shape 65 features dual side passive radiators instead of a bass port. This innovative design minimizes air turbulence, extends low-frequency response and allows the speaker to be positioned close to a wall without compromising acoustic performance. It is therefore an excellent choice for studios where space is limited.
Its Class AB bi-amplification delivers a total output of 105 watts, with dedicated amplification for both the woofer and tweeter.
