Designed by the same team that created the famous Mackie SRM450v2, the active speakers of the Mackie Thump range offer you deep and powerful bass in a light and very easy to carry format. Fast Recovery technology amplification (Ultra Fast Recovery Time) set in the D-Class delivers unmatched power to compression Tweeters and Woofers, allowing extremely powerful low frequencies. In addition, the active electronics of Mackie speakers, including an active precision filter and an alignment circuit in the speakers phase, allows total optimization, for maximum yield of speakers. Polyvalent by their design, the Thump range speakers are equipped with an adjustable 3-band EQ equalizer for frequency corrections, and given that you can install them on foot or place them on the ground in return (use in "foot boots"), the Thump range speakers allow you to create a complete sound system with unbeatable quality/price ratio.

More than a Simple Active Enclosure
Of course, the Thump speakers incorporate a power amplifier. In fact, each speaker has two. Our low-frequency amplifier in Fast Recovery Technology Class-D powers the Woofer with higher efficiency and reduced heat loss of sound energy than other speakers. But the unique character of Mackie speakers does not stop at amplifiers. The Mackie Active technology (based on the famous speakers of the SRMv2) range separates the frequencies in two bands thanks to the active 2-channel precision filter and also aligns the signals in phase so that the low and high-frequency signals arrive exactly at the same time in your audience's ears. Active compression protects loudspeakers and thermal protection circuits avoid any overheating of the output floors and power supply. All integrated electronic circuits work dynamically in synergy to produce a final sound quality that is never reached in this price range.

Portables and Polyvalents
For most people, ease of transport of equipment is of primary importance. This is why the Thump range is ultra-compact and lightweight, including TH-12A, which is less than 25 cm high, for a weight less than 12 kg. Regardless of the application, there is always a Thump pregnant suitable for your needs. Both models offer you powerful bass. But if you are a DJ and if you need bass beaucop, the 38 cm Woofer of the TH-15 model will make your happiness. For voice only and acoustic instruments requiring a precise response in mediums, TH-12A is perfect.

The Thump speakers are superb, and in addition, they can be used as top quality "footbain" scene returns by posing them to the ground on their side. The compact and lightweight format means easy handling, either to mount them on their foot or to load them in your vehicle. The ultra wide frequency response makes the ideal speakers in return of keyboards, vocals or even in return of bass guitar. The Thump speakers offer an exceptionally soft frequency response and an extended dispersion angle across the spectrum. You can therefore climb the sound level without fear of getting a hard sound.

Exceptional sound performance
The active speakers of the Thump range deliver an impressive sound level for their size and price. The design of the 2-way vent baffle delivers bass that you can feel in your chest, and the 1-inch compression Tweeter ensures a soft and wide response. We have even equipped them with an inlet 3-band equalizer, to allow you to correct the overall response as you like, with a 15 dB to 80 Hz accentuation/mitigation (grave Baxendall filter), 100 Hz to 8 kHz (semi-parametric medium filter) and 12 kHz (acute Baxendall filter). With this versatile equalization, you can add low frequencies to push the big box, give shine to your Charleston, give Punch to your songs, or to correct the acoustics of the room.

Protection of your investment
We know that you are very demanding with your speakers, and for this reason we have added additional circuits to ensure optimal operation of the Thump speakers, even when you grow the levels, for extended periods. Each speaker has its own compression circuit that protects it from any damage in the presence of transients. A filter to prevent excessive movement of the membrane is inserted just before the Woofer amplifier: it protects the Woofer membrane when you push low frequencies unreasonably. This means that even if you push the low frequencies "unreasonable", the Woofer is protected against overheating. We know that the conditions are not always optimal, and it is for this reason that if the electronic circuits come to heat, thermal protections come into action and protect the amplifiers of the Tweeter and/or Woofer, until the return of an acceptable operating temperature. These protections guarantee a long life and unmatched reliability to these speakers with exceptional sound quality.
