The HS-20 is based on the Tascam broadcast recorder range, but this model is optimized for installers. This stereo recorder works on SD or CompactFlash support, and its audio files are instantly available in network, ensuring instant remote access. The device’s network features are designed to ensure automatic recording and layout without supervision.

The HS-20 can serve as a file server, which allows you to manually download records via a network. It also has a client software, allowing to send its files to an external server, according to the terms defined by the user, with the option to delete the original files at the end of the operation. Automatic recording and reading are available, and the internal clock can synchronize to any internet time server.

The HS-20 is equipped with solid transport keys, a bent Jog/Shuttle wheel, and a touch-color display. Its back panel brings together symmetrical and asymmetrical analog connectors, as well as digital inputs/outputs in S/PDIF and AES/EBU formats. RS-232C and parallel control ports are also available. The camera records audio data in Broadcast WAV format, with a maximum digital resolution of 192 kHz / 24 bits.

Ideal for network-managed installations, the HS-20 allows you to automate and download your records to any server.
