Developed in close collaboration with Swiss company Merging Technologies, MT 48 brings Neumann quality in a digital workflow. The brand's first-born audio interface is the only one in its class capable of capturing the dynamic range of Neumann microphones and perfectly adapted to the KH series studio monitors and manufacturer's helmets. The result is a journey from the optimal audio signal between what you capture and what you listen: a crystalline sound of the microphone's diaphragm to your ear.
Built-in high-precision converters offer an impressive dynamic range of 136 dB, bringing a 4-fold resolution to comparable audio interfaces. Offering a wide range of features, the MT 48 is no less easy to use: all settings are available directly on the device using the large touch screen, for easy mixing and perfect monitoring in all circumstances. The gain, levels and panoramics, dynamic processing and much more are adjustable without passing through the computer.
The MT 48 represents the Swiss knife of any sound engineer or home studist demanding: two transparent micro/line preamps with 78 dB of gain, two line/instrument inputs, four monitor/line outputs and two headphone outputs, all working with state-of-the-art A/N N/A converters. Connectivity can be extended via ADAT/SPDIF and AES67, and a MIDI interface is also available. Four return mixes can be controlled directly on the interface via the touch screen. Finally, the integrated treatments offer a fully parametric equalizer with 4 strips, a dynamic processor per channel and a high quality reverberation.
