QU 24 + Cover offered

The Allen & Heath Q-24 is the successor of the famous QU-16 digital mixing table. This new mixing table knows the same intuitive command as its predecessor and is very suitable for the studio as well as for the live. The most important difference is obviously the number of channels. In addition, the QU-24 is equipped with no less than ten programmable SoftKeys (touches), an integrated USB interface, motorized faders, a dSnake connection and iLive series effects.

Qu-24: the comfort of use

The QU-24 has a very clear control panel. It is equipped with 25 ALPS motorized faders, a fader for the main channel and 24 faders with a double feature. These first allow you to set the volume, of course, but they also allow you to set the buses, using a flip switch, and the stereo senders and returns of the effects. A third configuration of the faders can be completely adjusted as you wish. Using the SuperStrip section, you can control the most important parameters, such as gain, parametric equalizer, pan (pan) and dynamics for each channel. The values are read on the clear multicolor screen. This screen gives you access to additional settings, such as routing, effects and system settings.

Softkeys and application for Ipad

One of the most practical features of the Allen & Heath QU-24 is the Softkeys series. You can assign several functions to these programmable keys, such as disable groups and open and store Scenes. You can control the Allen & Heat QU-24 remotely using the special Qu-Pad app from your iPad. The Wi-Fi feature gives you access to all settings and live mixing settings.

dSnake en ME Personal Mixing System

By designing the Allen & Heath QU series, manufacturers were inspired by a much larger and extended mixing table, the GLD-80. The QU-24 has inherited, among other things, the dSnake protocol of this mixing table. Thus, the table is compatible with the AR Digital Snakeboxes and the ME Allen ' Heath Personal Monitoring System. This system allows each musician or group member to have their own monitor settings.
