The N22H is a headphone amplifier reference system with advanced cable management system C.A.S.T., battery power supply and switchable power supply modes. Designed to be deployed exactly where it is needed, the N22H allows you to provide headphone mixing directly to musicians during recording sessions, even at distances of up to 100 metres thanks to a Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 7 armored cable
Based on the same custom design as the renowned 500R8 interface, the N22H headphone amplifier offers a flat frequency response of 0.8 Hz to over 250 kHz and ultra-low distortion (0.0009% THD+N, 100 kOhm load). This provides helmets with clean and transparent power, ideal for critical listening, mixing and mastering. The N22H can be used as an autonomous headphone amplifier by connecting line outputs from your audio interface, guitar pedal, mixer, keyboard or external hardware directly to its inputs.
The system C.A.S.T. uses a Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 7 shielded cable instead of 4 XLR cables, which reduces cable congestion in your studio while distributing audio with optimal sound results. Each connection C.A.S.T. on a Cranborne Audio product is optimized to ensure maximum signal integrity over distances of up to 100 meters, without loss of high frequency and with very low voice. The N22H is also able to transfer the 48 V phantom power from a preamp to power the capacitor microphones and DI boxes.
