The JB Systems Challenger Beam is a moving head beam fixture designed to deliver powerful, precise, and highly impactful lighting effects while remaining accessible in terms of budget. Equipped with a high-power 200W LED source, it produces an extremely narrow 2.8° beam angle, capable of reaching up to 110,500 lux at 5 meters. This level of output makes it an ideal solution for DJs, clubs, mobile stages, and event productions requiring strong aerial beam effects.
The Challenger Beam features an AURA system made of 36 pixel-controlled RGB LEDs, enabling dynamic lighting effects and color macros that significantly enhance visual performances. In addition, the fixture includes a gobo wheel with 13 fixed gobos plus open and a 14-color wheel, providing a wide range of visual combinations. Together, these features allow the creation of complete lighting designs without additional equipment.
To further expand creative possibilities, the Challenger Beam is equipped with two independent rotating prisms (8-facet and 24-facet), which can be combined to produce complex multi-beam and diffusion effects. The fixture also includes a motorized frost filter for smooth wash-like beam diffusion, as well as DMX-controlled focus for precise beam sharpness adjustments.
Designed for flexibility, the JB Systems Challenger Beam offers multiple operating modes: DMX control (5, 23, or 27 channels), sound-activated standalone mode via an integrated microphone, or master/slave mode for synchronized shows. It is also compatible with wireless DMX via an optional WTR-DMX dongle. The color LCD screen ensures easy menu navigation and setup, while its robust housing and omega bracket mounting system make it fully suitable for professional installations.
