The ADAM Audio S5V stands at the top of the S Series, offering unmatched accuracy and clarity across the entire frequency spectrum. Its 12" ELE™ woofer, featuring SMA (Symmetrical Magnet Assembly) technology, delivers powerful, detailed and ultra-precise low frequencies, while the 4" DCH hybrid dome/cone midrange driver ensures faithful reproduction of critical midrange content and essential musical information. The S-ART tweeter, handmade in Germany with extremely tight tolerances, provides crystal-clear highs and an exceptionally detailed and transparent stereo image.
The midrange and tweeter drivers benefit from aluminium waveguides: MPS (Medium Propagation System) and HPS (High Propagation System), offering controlled directivity and an extended sweet spot ideal for large control rooms or multi-listener setups. The integrated DSP optimises crossovers, offers a full EQ section and protection limiter, manages AES3 digital inputs and provides various expansion options. Firmware updates and advanced DSP control are handled via the USB port and dedicated software.
Amplification is divided across 3 channels: 700 W RMS for the woofer, 300 W RMS for the midrange and 100 W RMS Class D for the tweeter. The S5V covers a frequency range of 25 Hz to 50 kHz and reaches a maximum SPL of 128 dB per pair, making it the ultimate reference for high-end production, mixing and mastering environments.
