AUDIENT ASP800

The Audient ASP800 is a powerful studio preamplifier designed to bring rich and colorful tones to your recordings. Equipped with 8 Class A microphone preamplifiers and advanced analog/digital Burr-Brown conversion technology, it is a perfect complement for any audio configuration. The ASP800 features 2 independent JFET instrument inputs and 2 RETRO channels with varying levels of coloring and saturation, allowing you to easily add vintage features to your recordings. Designed by legendary David Dearden, this preamp has been optimized for over 18 years and is used by thousands of professional studios around the world.

The 8 channels of the ASP800 offer great flexibility for multi-track recordings, while the JFET instrument inputs allow direct connection of guitars, basses, keyboards or rhythm boxes. The first two channels are equipped with HMX and IRON controls, which reproduce respectively the warm sounds of the 60's tube apparatus and the brilliant sound typical of the 70's recordings. These features bring new sound possibilities, allowing to add heat, shine or shine to your audio tracks. The independent or combined control of HMX and IRON filters offers a great versatility to accurately sculpt the sound.

The ASP800 is also ideal for battery recording or to extend the number of channels in your current configuration via ADAT, ensuring high quality conversion.
