The missing link, the studio's new reference

Developed in close collaboration with the Swiss company Merging Technologies, the MT 48 brings Neumann quality into a digital workflow. The brand's first-born audio interface is the only one in its class capable of capturing the dynamic range of Neumann microphones and perfectly suited to KH series studio monitors and manufacturer's headphones. The result is an optimal audio signal path between what you capture and what you listen to: a crystalline sound from the microphone's diaphragm to your ear.

The integrated high-precision converters offer an impressive dynamic range of 136 dB, providing 4-fold resolution to comparable audio interfaces. Offering a wide range of features, the MT 48 is still very easy to use: all settings are accessible directly on the device using the large touch screen, for easy mixing and perfect monitoring in all circumstances. Gain, levels and panoramic, dynamic processing and much more are adjustable without going through the computer.

The MT 48 represents the Swiss knife of any demanding sound engineer or home studio: two transparent micro/line preamps with 78 dB gain, two line/instrument inputs, four monitor/line outputs and two headphone outputs, all operating with advanced A/N N/A converters. Connectivity can be extended via ADAT/SPDIF and AES67, and a MIDI interface is also available. Four return mixers can be controlled directly on the interface via the touch screen. Finally, the integrated treatments offer you a fully parametric equalizer with 4 bands, a dynamic processor per channel and a high quality reverberation.
