DP-008EX

The DP-008EX provides a professional recording, with many functions, in compact dimensions. With two static microphones placed directly at the front, this compact multitrack recorder, powered on batteries, is ideal for on-site or outdoor recordings. Record voices or acoustic guitar when desired, without additional hardware or installation time. Thanks to the analog sensations of the dedicated control potentiometers, its chrome tuner and its integrated metronome, and its lightness, this Pocketstudio is one of the simplest musical notebooks to use from the market.

The DP-008EX has two Combo inputs (XLR/jack TS) with ghost power for static microphones; it allows to connect external microphones, an electric or acoustic guitar, or a line-level device (synthesizer for example). With an optional adapter cable, you can also connect a tablet, iPad for example. Recording support is a very common SD/SDHC card. The device comes with a 2GB card. All of your pieces ideas are transferred from and to the device via USB 2.0 port or SD card reader at any stage of the recording process. Many editing functions are also available.

The DP-008EX also has insertion effects on all input lanes: equalizer, compressor, puller, excite. In addition, six different types of reverberation are available, for an optimal adaptation of your sound to any musical style. The level of reverberation is easily measured by starting potentiometers on each track. Not to mention the mastering effects, such as a 2-band equalizer, a multiband compressor and level standardization treatment, which help create high-quality Master files. You can manually master your files or use the automatic analysis function.

For greater autonomy, you can connect the DP-008EX directly to a pack of Tascam external batteries (BP-6AA) via USB.
