The TASCAM BD-MP1 is a professional Blu-Ray player designed for use in video production facilities, recording studios and cinemas. It offers a host of features for playing Blu-Ray, DVD and CD discs, as well as playing video and audio files from USB storage devices.

The BD-MP1 supports high-definition video formats such as MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and VC-1, as well as high-resolution audio formats such as AAC, APE, FLAC, WAV, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It also offers 1080p resolution video output for high-definition image quality.

In addition to its outstanding reading quality, the BD-MP1 is equipped with professional connectivity for easy integration into any system. It features HDMI, SDI and composite outputs for direct connection to screens and projectors, as well as analog and digital audio outputs for seamless integration into sound systems. The BD-MP1 is also equipped with an IR remote control for easy remote control, as well as RS-232C support (optional) for integration with external control systems. It comes with a rack mounting kit for easy installation in standard 19-inch equipment racks.
