The Author DT de Black Lion Audio is a preamplifier and DI (direct box) designed to enhance all your sound sockets. With 60 dB Chicago console style gain and XLR and 1/4" inputs, this versatile preamp is able to capture the raw power of a battery or the subtleties of a voice. Whether it's percussion, synths or voices, the DT Author assures you that everything you record will come out with enriched quality and warmth.

More than just a preamp, the DT Author transforms signals from guitars, basses or other electrical instruments into one rich sound texture, detailed and clean. Its robust design, with a brushed black aluminium case and side panels made of varnished maple, not only gives a vintage look, but also durability to any test. This preamp excels in capturing any sound detail while respecting every shade of your game.

With high quality components carefully selected, including an american processor and nichicon and Vishay capacitors, the Author DT offers remarkable sound fidelity.
