Rock'n roll

The WA-412 provides four classic American console pre-amplification channels in 1U rack format. This preampli style has often been described as "rock'n roll sound" for its severe percutants and its high of soft and open spectrum. Equipped with fully discreet 6-pin amli-op and Altran USA inlet and output transformers, the WA-412 is highly competitive in this price range and this type of equipment.

This 4-channel preamp, beyond the material it draws from, also offers an Output Trim potentiometer for each channel, to precisely control the output level. A "Tone" switch also allows you to select the transformer's input impedance to color the signal in two different ways, for a hot, percuting or neutral and open sound. Other particularity and not least, discrete 6-pin integrated op amplifiers can be interchanged with other compatible operating amplifiers of your choice. Warm Audio has worked closely with Altran USA to develop unique custom transformers that extend the low frequency response of these classic preamps.

This careful choice of components results in a complete and versatile preamplifier, with four input channels for your micros or instruments, and brings a touch of magic inspired from vintage consoles to your signal, for a faithful and natural rendering, or colorful and percuting, regardless of the signal level.
