The WA-84 is a small diaphragm condenser microphone based on a classical microphone circuit. Developed and designed on a Class A circuit, the microphone incorporates a Cinemag transformer manufactured in the United States, polystyrene and WIMA condensers, and a Fairchild FET.

The WA-84 was developed for professional studio applications, home-studio, live and broadcast, and fits perfectly for the capture of a variety of instruments, such as acoustic and electric guitars, piano, strings, brass and winds, and a stereo coupling with references WA-84 OC Stereo Set or WA-84 Stereo Set perfectly suited to the stereo capture of percussive instruments, overheads, and other sources or sets of instruments. In addition omnidirectional capsule available at the unit offers the possibility to extend the possibilities of capture, to transform your sound socket.

Do not rely on its small size, the WA-84 retansscribes an incredibly rich sound and covers a wide spectrum of frequencies. The use of the Cinemag transformer in Nickel in its signal path gives it a very warm and ample sound. Its "boutique" design with a vintage style design are recognized to offer a crystalline, soft and wide sound.
