The Audiophony CARBON18ASub is a professional active 18-inch subwoofer designed to deliver powerful performance and deep low-frequency reproduction. It is ideal for mobile sound systems, DJs, multipurpose venues, and any installation requiring high-quality low-end reinforcement. With its 1000 W RMS Class D amplifier and a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB SPL, it offers highly efficient response and generous power headroom.
Equipped with a fully adjustable advanced DSP, the CARBON18ASub allows precise optimization depending on the environment, placement, and system configuration. Available settings include EQ, modes, position presets, delay, LED management, reset, and system info. All parameters can be accessed via the onboard interface or through the CARBONcontrol mobile app (iOS/Android).
Its acoustic section is built around a high-power 18″ woofer featuring a 4″ voice coil and a 95.6 Oz magnet, capable of handling up to 800 W AES / 1600 W Program. The optimized enclosure and the 15 mm reinforced plywood cabinet with textured Polyurea anti-scratch coating ensure exceptional durability and deliver clean, deep, and punchy bass response.
In terms of connectivity, the CARBON18ASub offers 2 COMBO XLR/JACK inputs and 2 XLR outputs for seamless integration into any active sound system. The threaded 36 mm pole mount allows the installation of satellite speaker poles.
