DAP TA-4.450 – 4-channel touring amplifier with FIR DSP

The DAP TA Series represents a new generation of power amplifiers designed for touring and professional installations. Lightweight, compact, and built around a high-efficiency Class-D architecture, TA amplifiers integrate a complete DSP engine including 512-tap FIR filters, 8-band parametric EQ, input/output delay, and advanced dynamic processing. Engineered to meet the demands of modern stages, they deliver powerful, accurate, and reliable audio reproduction while offering extremely flexible signal management. Thanks to their 100–240 V universal power supply with active PFC, TA amplifiers operate worldwide with high efficiency and low thermal dissipation.

The onboard DSP can be configured directly via the front LCD screen and multifunction encoder, or fully controlled through a PC software interface (Windows 10/11) for detailed adjustment of every parameter: FIR, EQs, limiters, delays, 4×4 routing, phase, HP/LP filters, user presets, and real-time IP monitoring. DAP also provides optimized DSP presets for Odin, WMS and NRG passive speaker systems, ensuring fast deployment, perfect integration, and maximum acoustic performance.

The TA-4.450 is the 4×450 W model of the series. Compact (1U), robust, and designed to handle low-impedance loads down to 2 Ω, it operates in stereo, parallel, or bridge modes. Its efficiency above 90%, high-current capability, and exceptional stability make it an ideal touring amplifier for rental companies, event professionals, and demanding mobile setups.
