DAP TA-4.1700 – 4-channel touring amplifier with FIR DSP & high power output
The TA-4.1700 is a high-performance 4-channel DSP power amplifier designed for demanding touring applications. Housed in a rugged and compact 1U chassis, it delivers an impressive 4 × 1700 W at 4Ω, supports 2Ω loads, operates in bridge mode up to 5800 W (20 Hz–20 kHz), and can drive 70 V high-impedance lines. Built around a high-efficiency Class-D architecture with over 90% efficiency, it provides outstanding power, stability, reliability and thermal performance in any touring environment.
Its advanced DSP engine, fully controllable over IP via the Windows 10/11 PC software, includes: input delay up to 100 ms, output delay up to 20 ms, 8-band parametric EQ on inputs and outputs, internal 4×4 routing, HP/LP filters, FIR filtering up to 512 taps, RMS + peak limiters, phase control, and a full suite of tools dedicated to system optimization for high-power touring setups.
With the universal SMPS power supply (100–250 V AC) featuring Active PFC + Soft-Switch technology, the TA-4.1700 ensures flawless stability on any international power grid. IP monitoring via RJ45 provides real-time control of voltage/current, temperature, protection status and daisy-chain networking.
The integrated 3" LCD display combined with the rotary control knob ensures quick access to all parameters, enabling effortless operation on stage and fast adjustments during live productions.
