The first of a great line
Designed and manufactured in Austria, the OC818 is the first static professional microphone with a large membrane of the Austrian Audio brand. Its exceptional performances such as high sensitivity, low background noise and ability to capture in detail all sources; from the bleaching just audible to the most extreme SPLs, make it the first choice microphone for studio, diffusion and live applications.
The design of its ceramic capsule is so well thought and consistent that the OC818 can be paired with any other OC818, and if you want to apparel it with another cardioid microphone, its little brother will'OC18 will be the ideal choice.
The OC818 incorporates a CKR12 capsule, based on the famous CK12, 5 switchable lines on the microphone or via the Bluetooth adapter OCR8 available as an option, and customizable remotely from PolarDesigner software for Windows/Mac. An adjustable bottom filter as well as an analog pad directly adjustable on the microphone offer better adaptability, while a double output allows to record each polar diagram independently.
