The DPA 4088-DP-A-C90-LH (4088 CORE+) is a directional cardioid headset microphone designed to deliver a natural, open and highly accurate sound for vocal performance and spoken-word applications. With its excellent off-axis rejection and ultra-low distortion, it is ideal for demanding environments on stage or in studio settings.
Featuring a cardioid pickup pattern, the 4088 CORE+ provides optimal rejection of ambient noise and distant sound sources, significantly reducing the risk of feedback even in high-SPL environments. Its lightweight, flexible and moisture-resistant design ensures maximum comfort for long-wearing sessions, with the option to mount it on either the left or right side. The MicroLock system offers full compatibility with DAD 9000-series adapters (not included).
The 4088-DP-A-C90-LH version includes a brown 4088 CORE+ cardioid directional microphone with a black ACT headset, an extended boom arm for optimal placement at the corner of the mouth, and a MicroLock adapter for P48 phantom power operation via the DAD9001 (not included). The discreet dual-ear design and lightweight 14 g construction ensure a stable fit and maximum comfort during extended use. The microphone provides optimal bass linearity at 2–3 cm from the sound source while effectively attenuating ambient noise and feedback.
