The Yamaha DXS18 Mk3 is the largest and most powerful model in the new generation of professional subwoofers DXS MK3. Designed to deliver ultra-deep, powerful and perfectly controlled bass, it features an exclusive 18” high-excursion woofer with a 4” voice coil, paired with a 2500 W Class-D amplifier, providing exceptional impact and extended response in the very low-frequency range.
Thanks to its optimized band-pass design, the DXS18 Mk3 effectively suppresses unwanted cabinet noise while maximizing efficiency in the sub-bass and infra-bass region. It reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 134 dB SPL, providing immense headroom for concerts, festivals, DJ sets and professional installations requiring high-level low-frequency reproduction.
The onboard 96 kHz / 32-bit DSP includes Yamaha’s D-XSUB processing, extending the low-frequency response even further down to 32 Hz (EXTENDED LF mode). The DSP also offers flexible crossover control, precise phase alignment and a dedicated cardioid mode for optimal low-end management on stage.
Designed to integrate seamlessly with full-range systems, especially with Yamaha DXR Mk3 loudspeakers, the DXS18 Mk3 enables the creation of extremely powerful, coherent and perfectly balanced PA systems.
