Neumann on stage

The KMS 105 is a studio-quality microphone voice for on-stage use. Its precisely designed capacitor capsule offers a sound quality signed Neumann, combined with all the virtues of a robust stage microphone: Excellent protection against pops, low manipulation noise, high acoustic pressure capacity and high Larsen resistance thanks to its narrow supercardioid pattern.

The sound studio for the audience

Unlike conventional stage microphones that use dynamic capsules, the KMS 105 is equipped with a real capacitor capsule with superior clarity comparable to what Neumann can bring to the studio world. Its frequency response is much softer than dynamic microphones, and offers a very airy high spectrum. With all this, the KMS 105 offers intelligibility and clarity on stage.

Adapted to all situations

The KMS 105 is optimized for close audio: A fixed downcut and an integrated anti-pop compensate for the proximity effect, guaranteeing clear bass. Thanks to Neumann's technical engineering, these acoustic filters pose no problems of simplicity. Resistant to interference, its low impedance output without transformer allows it a cabled connection up to 300m without loss of transmission.
