Audio-Technica AT2035 – Large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone, professional performance for studio & home-studio

Designed to meet the needs of musicians, audio engineers, and demanding content creators, the Audio-Technica AT2035 stands as a more refined evolution of the iconic AT2020, while remaining more affordable than higher-end models such as the AT4040 or AT4050. Thanks to its large diaphragm and optimized electronics, it delivers a rich, balanced, and highly detailed sound, ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments, and sound design.

With its cardioid pickup pattern, the AT2035 isolates the source placed in front of it, efficiently reducing unwanted sounds from the rear and sides. This approach defines the entire Audio-Technica 20 Series, which also includes models like the AT2020, AT2020USB-X, and the AT2050, which offers multiple polar patterns for greater versatility.

The AT2035 stands out for its very low self-noise and its ability to handle extremely high sound pressure levels, making it an excellent choice for both powerful vocal performances and dynamic sound sources (drums, brass, guitar amps, etc.). Its 80 Hz low-cut filter and -10 dB pad allow fast adaptation to any recording scenario, providing control and flexibility comparable to higher-tier studio microphones.

Robust, precise, and built to last, the AT2035 is a natural choice for users seeking an upgrade from the AT2020 without necessarily stepping into the sophistication of the AT4040 or AT4050. Supplied with its AT8458 shock mount and a padded protective pouch, it forms a complete package ready to integrate into any professional or home-studio setup.
