Another legend is reborn
Like other microphones of the brand, the WA-67 is based on an iconic microphone used on the memorable recordings of the last 5 decades: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana... these great names and countless others have sung, shouted, screamed in front of the capsule of a '67. The original microphones are still used in the biggest studios and always wanted, but here we talk about microphones to several thousand euros, usually out of reach of potential users.
Warm Audio's desire and unchanged aim to offer the opportunity for musicians, producers and home-studists to enjoy legendary material at an affordable price is again demonstrated with the WA-67. Developed from an EF86 pentode lamp offering a soft and creamy sound similar to the original, the WA-67 excels for the capture of many sources, and can be the ideal choice for taking voices, guitars, drum toms, overheads, piano, brass and strings.
The custom-designed K-67 capsule ensures a frequency response and the same curve as the original capsule, and contributes largely to the "soyous" rendering of the WA-67. This high-precision reproduction, combined with a rigorous selection of modern components, ensures the vintage character of the microphone, for an award-winning result of many reviews, and unparalleled in this price range.
