The WA-8000 is a blink of an eye to a lamp condenser microphone and large diaphragm that has made its way to countless platinum discs from the early 1990s and continues to excel in many styles. The sound of this microphone transcribed the voices of artists from Dr. Dre, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight in Eminem, Rihanna, Drake and more. The original stands out, offering a frequency response with a natural and open top of spectrum, an extremely clear medium and the ability to return any details in a vocal performance that competes with the highest range microphones to date.

Warm Audio teams did not simply copy/paste components and the original circuit to design a heritage worthy of this name. This is why the microphone incorporates a capsule entirely made of K-67 brass, a Lundhal transformer made in Sweden, a 6AU6 NOS lamp and a 7-pin high-end Gotham brand cable and connector solution. This rigorous selection of "premium" components from the best audio components providers in the world guarantees professional quality retranscription for your voice.
