Small format but big sound

The TLM 102 was developed to record all types of sources. The response was finely and especially accentuated in the acute frequencies (between 8 and 12 kHz), which corresponds to a crucial band for the human voice.

This microphone offers an elegant sound, typical of wide membranes, bringing to the voice a great presence throughout the mix. Simple to handle, the TLM 102 will treat plosives and whistles with its built-in anti-pop filter.

Too much volume? No problem.

The TLM 102 can support large volumes and large leaps of dynamics without giving any sign of distortion. This makes him an excellent choice for sounding amps and very noisy percussive instruments.

Indeed, it is able to withstand acoustic pressure up to 144 dB with great clarity. Regardless of the volume you produce below this limit, the sound you will get will be open, detailed, with deep bass and refined acutes.

For the studio or the stage.

Neumann's TLM series works with output floors without transformers. This means that you will get from this microphone a clean and direct sound, very close acoustically to the source, and a retransmission from the bottom of the deep spectrum to the lowest frequencies.

This design also allows TLM 102 to make it more resistant to electromagnetic fields and interference, while reducing signal loss.
