Inspired by a legend
The EQP-WA is a recreation of the most renowned lamp equalizer in studio history, the Pultec EQP-1A. Warm Audio's approach, as in most of their range, was to reproduce a legendary equalizer at a competitive price, without compromising the quality of manufacturing, component selection and design.
This fully discreet lamp equalizer can extract subtle and elegant harmonics from any track and bring shine and depth to the source of your choice to bring it a presence and bring it out during your mix, with a color almost impossible to get "in the box".
The unit was designed from a rigorous selection of components: Cinemag input and output transformers, considered to be the most faithful to the circuits of the original machines, and two 12AX7 and 12AU7, lamps chosen for their sound wealth and their large "opening".
