The MagicQ Compact Connect belongs to the MagicQ Compact Series and stands out as a compact USB control surface designed to offer a portable, powerful, and affordable solution for controlling lighting, media, and LED systems from any Windows, macOS, or Linux computer. Lightweight and small enough to fit into carry-on luggage, it is perfectly suited for touring lighting designers as well as fixed installations in theatres, clubs, schools, studios, or performance venues.
The Compact Connect features 2 direct DMX512 outputs (RDM-compatible) and can send up to 64 ArtNet and sACN universes through its built-in network port, without requiring licences or external dongles. Its ergonomic layout includes 8 illuminated rotary encoders for attribute parameters and 10 playback faders equipped with Flash, Go, and Select buttons. A dedicated Grand Master and Crossfader provide precise global level control in live situations.
With its integrated USB hub, audio input, 10Scene/Remote port, and dedicated work light socket, the Compact Connect offers complete connectivity for every professional environment. The MagicQ software enables access to an advanced programming environment with extremely high capacities for cues, cue stacks, groups, and palettes, as well as extensive media server handling with up to 50 layers.
