The AKG P4 is a high-performance dynamic microphone designed to capture powerful and high-energy instruments such as toms, snare drums, percussion, guitar/bass amplifiers and even certain wind instruments. With a maximum sound pressure handling of 152 dB SPL, it delivers a punchy, clean and accurate sound, even in the most demanding environments.
Its cardioid polar pattern focuses on the sound source while effectively reducing feedback and unwanted noise from the rear. A built-in hum-compensation coil further reduces interference for a cleaner, more reliable signal.
Built to last, the P4 features a solid all-metal body designed to withstand intensive stage use and repeated studio sessions. The integrated H440-type stand adapter allows quick mounting on toms, snare drums or amplifiers — a practical time-saver for both live and studio setups. The microphone comes with a zippered pouch for safe transport and storage.
