The e 914 is a superior electrostatic microphone with a full sound and excellent dynamic. Its silky character, never hard, is obtained by the delicate accentuation of the finest acutes. Its direct response to the transients accurately captures the temperament of each battery kit, even at very high levels of acoustic pressure. With its detailed resolution, the e 914 perfects all live battery sounds. The capsule has an extraordinary resistance to hooks and can be individually adapted to various needs: it is possible to choose between three positions for the bottom filter and for pre-mitigation.
