Perfect your instrument sound catch
With the OC7, Austrian Audio features an optimized condenser microphone for instrument capture. Made by hand in Vienna and subject to the strictest quality assurance procedures, the OC7 again demonstrates Austrian know-how in terms of audio performance thanks to its small diaphragm OCC7 capsule, perfectly suited to recording applications.
To facilitate the installation and positioning of instrument microphones, the engineers of Austrian audio have developed a "Swivel Joint" mechanism for a rotation of the capsule 220° compared to the body of the microphone. This allows a high precision alignment with the sound source.
The open, natural and transparent sound that it transcribes offers unparalleled flexibility for capturing a range of sources. Retranscribing the transients with great precision, it adapts perfectly to percussive instruments, toms and light drums, but will also shine on a piano, guitar and other string instruments.
