The MK 8 is a professional large diaphragm condenser microphone. Its 1” double diaphragm capsule sprayed with 24-carat gold is mounted on a shock absorber and delivers a warm and precise sound while remaining musical. Versatile, the MK 8 offers 5 switchable directivities: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, super cardioid and figure 8 allowing it to adapt to all sound recording situations. It has a three-position switchable filter to eliminate any residual low-frequency noise below 60 Hz or to have a softer roll-off effect at 100 Hz to compensate for the proximity effect in sound recording close together
Ideal for studio or home studio recording, the MK 8 has a robust metal housing and comes with a microphone clip and a protective cover. Optional accessories include an elastic suspension, foam windscreen, pop shield and hard case.
