The MK 8 is a professional wide membrane electrostatic microphone. Its double diaphragm capsule with a 24-carat gold spray is mounted on shock absorber and delivers a warm and precise sound while remaining musical. Polyvalent, the MK 8 offers 5 switchable directivities: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, super cardioid and figure 8 allowing to adapt to all sound-taking situations. It has a three-position switchable filter to eliminate any residual low-frequency noise below 60 Hz or to have a softer roll-off effect at 100 Hz to compensate for the proximity effect at the close-up
Ideal for studio or home-studio recording, the MK 8 features a robust metal case and comes with a micro clip and a protective cover. Optional accessories include an elastic suspension, a foam windproof cap, a pop screen and a rigid case.
